Temple to Kelemvor
Southwestern part of the town, connected to graveyard.
A large square shaped building with a tall pointed tower decorated with fine stone buttresses, stained glass windows and decorative crenellations. Statues of robed skeletal figures holding golden scales stand vigil at the entry to the temple. To the east of the temple lies the Fairhaven graveyard.
“Recognise that death is part of life. It is not an ending but a beginning, not a punishment but a necessity. Death is an orderly process without deceit, concealment or randomness. Help others die with dignity and only at their appointed time. Speak out against all those that would artificially prolong their lives beyond their natural limits or end those of others before their time. Do honor to the dead, for their strivings in life shaped Faerun. Forgetting them would be to deprive us of our identities. Remember above all else, that as Kelemvor’s priests guide and protect you in life, so to will Kememvor guide and protect you in death.”
